We have now reached the point in the year again where the change of seasons takes place. Winter has officially arrived in the northern hemisphere and some snow has already fallen. For this occasion we invited the labelhead of @midgar_records known as @severja to interpret this transition musically. Besides refreshing sound design and stirring rhythms that wonderfully reflect the autumn sonically, he has also used timbres that make you warm around the heart in the cold season. We are very honored to feature this great storyteller for the current episode.

For this peaceful fall morning, we turn to local Brooklyn based producer and DJ, Vicki Siolos for the auditory selections. After meeting at the Mostra festival in Barcelona, there was an immediate connection which only strengthened after listening through a few of her ‘Bright Pattern’ shows she hosts on the Lot Radio. Her mix for today showcases several pieces by Norm Chambers, as she writes – ‘including a new one released by his family on the anniversary of his passing. His music continues to inspire me to push myself deeper into my own imagination and stitch it into a sonic narrative. Toxido Mask, is a DJ/Producer & Sound Designer based in Berlin.

With an energy that is resolute, her passion for natural detail orients throughout her music. Toxido is currently overseeing the artistic direction of the podcast series 'Catharsis'.

In this mix she focuses on a dance-floor approach, seeing her hypnotic signature interlaced with intricately tuned energy exploring the synergy between polyrhythms and straight grooves, harmony and disharmony,  clarity and distortion, yin and yang.
