Loma Doom - real name Femke Dekker - lives in Amsterdam where she's a vital member of the music scene, a seasoned digger and radio host as well as a curator and educator of contemporary art. Her dedication to radio is quite amazing, holding residencies on Radio Tempo Nao Para, Echobox Radio and Stranded FM as well as Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee, an online radio station dedicated to art.

For her Phase Group Mix she has gifted us with an expertly composed deep listening experience. One hour of shamanic trance moving through dark droning soundscapes, tribal percussion and ancient voices chanting echoing incantations, recorded live at the Radio Tempo Nao Para studios in Amsterdam. If you had to guess, when the time comes for your last slumber, where do you think you'll wake up? Up above, along with the sun, finally relieved from a life of abstinence? Or down there, right at the center of the earth, as you gave in to temptation? But life isn't so much black and white, is it? In-between this binary conclusion, It's more than likely that we all walk another path, the one for the tormented souls who couldn't make up for their failures and mistakes. A haunted desert where we would all form a never-ending procession, our heads crimsoned by the heaven's eye looking down on us, while our feet come out in blisters from the fire and brimstone. Flames everywhere, burning everything. Flesh, bones, dreams, hope, altogether forming ash coated dunes. Look better, you might catch sight of a mirage there, probably the persistent nostalgia.

DJ, Producer and Ghost Dance label owner, Aléatronome co-founder, Le Marais member, so many hats for our dear friend from Saint-Etienne Brahim Lumière. A great human being we are happy to invite today, for another mystical soundscape: jasmine dreams, encapsulating trance rituals, tribal percussions and spooky vaporwave incantations...

One could state that her style is rooted in gritty strains of EBM and techno, but you can hear a great influence of punk, acid, and other genres that reflects a punk attitude. The power of accentuated and multi-layered character is felt across her releases – on United Identities, Fides Records, Marguerite Records and Brokntoys labels, to name a few – either it is a downtempo chugger or electro stomper. Mayo’s DT200 mix is an example of entrancing storytelling speaking to different influences, leading you from a slow prelude to a sweaty ending.

Scrying the Landscape XIII. Dedicated to particulate bodies, the thirteenth episode of 'Scrying the Landscape' features soundbites from cloudy and sandy fields, and sentimental music for wandering. From accumulated matter to big feelings and turbulent intimacies, this mix drifts beyond the human [at times] to think about 'the tidalectics' of falling apart and holding [it] together. Friends born out of late-night revelling and pandemic living-room rants, together they find respite and a field of inquiry in nearby shores or the memories of more distant ones. The quiet lee-side of the dunes by the North Sea provide shelter and a space to question and practice listening [attunement] and transmission.
