ixqzm是一位駐巴黎的台灣聲音藝術家。她藉由對台灣山林自然的熱愛，將都市聲音的複雜與混亂，透過收音與編制，重新呈現出她在山中感受到的自然多樣與生命力，將噪音重新定義。
她的創作涵蓋ambient、experimental、noise、electronic，曾在巴黎 le Klub、Magnum club、Le Shakirail、Le Tour Orion、Fête de la musique 演出，也參與過多場藝術型態的地下活動，音樂性質廣泛並活躍於巴黎電子樂圈，ixqzm的現場演出擅長為觀眾營造抽象的空間感與穿梭叢林的感官體驗。

ixqzm is a Paris based sound artist, drawing inspiration from island culture and the mesmerizing power of nature. Deeply influenced by her love for Taiwan&#39;s mountainous forests, she reinterprets the complexity and chaos of urban sounds through field recordings and composition, transforming them into the rich diversity and vitality she experiences in nature. Her work redefines the boundaries of noise, creating an immersive musical journey, an unconscious exploration deep into the heart of an electronic jungle.
ixqzm creations span ambient, experimental, noise, and electronic genres. She has performed at some of Paris’s iconic venues such as Le Klub, Magnum Club, Le Shakirail, Le Tour Orion and Fête de la Musique, as well as at numerous art-driven underground events. Known for her versatile musical style, Ixqzm is an active presence in Paris’s electronic music scene, crafting abstract spatial soundscapes and sensory experiences that evoke the feeling of traversing dense jungles while connecting audiences to both the natural and urban worlds.

Vinyls, k7, cd-rom and field recordings mixture recorded by Léon aka Research Wax from the Toulouse-based record shop Casemate, specialist in second-hand electronic music and everything between to b-side.
Two hours in the middle of a bayou accompanied by the mage Ray-B for the first ceremonial part, meeting forgotten cults with drone, psychedelic mantra and fractured bells. For the second hour, I continue our exploration in the swamp with sounds reminiscent of voodoo jazz and spiritual breaks buried beneath the muddy soil. Bon voyage!
