🇧🇪 Here is the sharing of some records I've loved (and bought in awesome shops in Brussels : Balades Sonores, Crevettes Records, Dust Dealers...) over the past two years. It presents exclusively Belgian-based artists - labels - productions. Almost 100% vinyl (a couple of digital tracks provided by the artists themselves), electronic music mostly, recent editions mainly (from 2019 to today). Obviously, it does not represent the diversity of musical production in Belgium. But, through a part of this local scene, I wanted (and I tried) to celebrate the wonderful cultural diversity of "my" country (three institutional communities, three official languages) and Brussels (which is, with 180 nationalities represented, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world). El disco, lanzado a través de la plataforma musical chilena New Latam Beats e ideado en conjunto con una de sus principales artistas, la productora Carla Valenti, está disponible en dos volúmenes, que en total suman 29 tracks inéditos, todos compuestos íntegramente por mujeres músicas chilenas que, desde sus diversos estilos y subjetividades aportan, en el cotidiano, a la música tanto en lo local, como en el ámbito latinoamericano.

Revueltas nace a partir de la necesidad y ganas de juntar a mujeres creadores chilenas. Tal como señala Carla Valenti, surge de “las ganas de tener este espacio, de poder visualizar el trabajo de las mujeres de Chile, que encuentro que todas son riquísimas y que admiro mucho. Creo que cada una por separado, me ha inspirado en algún momento de mi vida”.
