Escucha hoy desde España a Emesh (@music_ams), que nos trae un set de colección. Conjunción de atmósferas contemplativas donde se encuentran el slow trance, el sonido ambiental y un minimalismo orgánico y sutil, todo ello potenciado por una inspiración ritual. Sonido introspectivo que hechiza y va conduciéndonos por esas cadencias exquisitas que han caracterizado el sonido de este Dj y productor español a través del tiempo. Su estilo lo ha llevado a compartir escenario con figuras como James Holden, así como a espacios diversos como el Círculo de Bellas Artes. For DanceDiscoveries098; as we approach our 100th episode, we go back in time (not too far back ;)) to the 80's Danish Dancehall Disco floors. I first heard Rune Cosmic's sound in the 1st edition of @thebeatsociety's mix series and it's been quite a while since I've heard the same energy&passion in a set. Shortly after digging into RC's sound, I asked him to take part in DanceDiscoveries and the rest is history. I hope you enjoy!

Bio:
Rune Cosmic together with Vomatron & DJ Nixxon are co-founders of the legendary Italo/disco collective Disco Vendetta, responsible for throwing some of the best 80s style parties in Copenhagen during the first decade of the millennium. Over the years some of the best and most interesting italo and disco DJs from all over Europe came to play at these events

Rune Cosmic has been collecting vinyl records since 1979 and DJ'ing since 1983. Additionally, he has played  in Denmark, Paris, Sweden and Berlin on the legendary Kit Kat Club (Disco Bizarre)

"We had two bags of white labels, seventy-five dBridge records, five sheets of old Metalheadz pr releases, a saltshaker half-full of Seba's hair, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored Good Looking, Prototype, Inperspective and Soul:R records. Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a copy of that 0=0 record that never came out on Planet Mu, and two dozen dj mixers with no mids. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drum and bass collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the Calibre. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an Calibre binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon."
