This is a test recording of my static way pedal that I recently finished building.

Static Wah

This is journey through 5 over drive pedals, all on maximum gain. 
1) Tubescreamer clone, with regular diodes.
2) Tubescreamer clone with MOSFETs instead of diodes.
3) A Fulltone OCD clone
4) A ZVex Box of Rock clone
5) A standard germanium fuzz, with 'fuller mods'.

Lowdown And Dirty

This is a custom Telecaster style guitar with Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups. I recently replaced the switch with a four-way version that allows for using the neck and bridge pickups in series as well as the normal parallel configuration. I start with the bridge and work my way through neck and bridge (parallel), then neck, then neck and bridge in series.

The wizards over at DIY Effects have created a great clone of the historic Fuzzface guitar effect. Well-known for being Jimi Hendrix's go-to tone in the 60's, the fuzzface has since been used by notable guitarist such as Clapton, Beck, Warren Haynes, Eric Johnson and Joe Bonamassa.
