No joke, it's one of my favourite pieces ever, for the music itself and also for the hours and hours of musical joy it goes with: wonderful podcast!

A beautiful, famous forecastle shanty I first discovered and fell in love with in Assassin's Creed 4. Original track was specially recorded as a lullaby for Leigh Alexander. I then added the second track/harmonies and shared - Matthew S. Burns (@mrwasteland) then contributed the exquisite pedal tones and reverb, giving it a whole new shape and depth.

Interpretation taken largely from the excellent in-game shantyman; harmonies borrowed from the masterful The Corries (http://bit.ly/1aOWP70).

Outro solos typically run from rehearsal marker B to marker C (the bridge), with an extra little "goodbye stinger" over the final couple chords at the very end.
