A beautiful, famous forecastle shanty I first discovered and fell in love with in Assassin's Creed 4. Original track was specially recorded as a lullaby for Leigh Alexander. I then added the second track/harmonies and shared - Matthew S. Burns (@mrwasteland) then contributed the exquisite pedal tones and reverb, giving it a whole new shape and depth.

Interpretation taken largely from the excellent in-game shantyman; harmonies borrowed from the masterful The Corries (http://bit.ly/1aOWP70).

A more-or-less final mix of the official Strong Songs Theme Song, composed by me in May of 2019. I recorded and performed the whole thing myself, and brought in a ringer for the trumpet parts. 

This is actually the first time I've published a recording of me playing an actual drum set, as opposed to using drum samples. I spent the first part of 2019 refurbishing and practicing with my dad's beautiful 1960s Ludwig kit, and I think I managed to get it sounding pretty good here.
