Over the last couple of years or so two artists that have really shone for us in the house world are @donniemoustaki and @sweetfruitybrunch. Musically they were a breath of fresh air combining jazz chops, with a distinctly European edged house sound and some incredible keys. Online information was scant, to say the least, as both artists were apparently more than happy to focus on the music rather than the socials but it turns out that they in fact the same person.

Welcome to the Word Is Love Show's 69th Show and it's a return to 70's New York with the epic Disco and Groove sounds from Nicky Siano's The Gallery Days from 1972-77.

Expect a warm Classic selection of Disco, Funk, Rare Groove, House, Latin and Soul that used to be played at The Gallery by Nicky including Classic tracks by Loleatta Holloway, LaBelle, Sylvester, Teddy Pendergrass and First Choice. Plus there is a number of Classic Disco tracks you may recognise being thrown down for good measure. 

Nicky Siano was one of the first DJ's to blend records with 2 turntables; an amazing pioneering skill at the time paramount to DJ culture.

This is a special mix put together with Love by @thefunkassassin

If you fancy a taste of Disco heritage then this tribute mix is for you and is an ideal party mix for any occasion.
