Оригинальный саундтрек к Backbone от Никиты Даньшина (Danshin) и Аруж Афтаб (Arooj Aftab) состоит из 30 уникальных композиций, написанных специально для Backbone и Backbone: Prologue.

Идеально сочетая в себе элементы трип-хопа и дарк-джаза, эти мелодии позволят вам в любой момент воскресить в памяти истории персонажей игры и атмосферу антиутопического Ванкувера.

Толчком к созданию игры и ее джазового саундтрека послужило курьезное происшествие: однажды на задний двор к Никите Даньшину забрался енот. Композитор долго пытался выгнать его палкой и другими подручными средствами, но в итоге мохнатого нарушителя удалось выдворить только с помощью громкой игры на трубе.

Когда же во время работы над саундтреком к Backbone Никита начал выкладывать сэмплы композиций в интернет, к нему обратилась известная своими экспериментами исполнительница Аруж Афтаб и предложила стать вторым композитором и вокалистом проекта.

After both playing & loving "What Remains of Edith Finch", and loving this cue in particular, I was inspired to adapt the piece (originally for piano & strings) to electric guitar. Originally the theme for "Unfinished Swan".
