Miedo Total’s latest work Augury By Birds is a collection of funereal and unnerving tracks that navigate themes of obsession, death anxiety and superstition. Written during the early months of 2020, Augury By Birds manifests as four tracks that meander between kinetic sound objects and hymn-like compositions. The EP’s title refers to a fixation with predicting the future brought on by a consuming fear of death and explores a traditional idea that the behaviours of birds could be read as omens. 

The release features 3 remixes from KMRU (@kamarujoseph), Xiu Xiu (@xiu-xiu-music) and Flora Yin-Wong (@floraytw).
