Cisco FM his DSS session has been a work in progress for quite some time, refining the tracks and restarting the process several times over. As his music taste progressed and inspiration was drawn at several occasions the tracklist progressed with him.
The concept stayed the same, flowing through bpm’s and genres while maintaining a deep and trippy character in the mix. Sometimes introspective, sometimes all-out but always deep.
Brutally stubborn and refusing to fit into a single genre box, Cisco FM wants his DJing to be an extension of his personal music taste. He succeeds to showcase this genre fluidity and ever expanding library through his bi-monthly Kiosk residency. 
Through the Deep Dive collective, hypnotic and deep territories of electronic music are explored and curated.

For this new episode of Deep Breakfast, the journey is guided by none other than Chris SSG. 
Based in Tokyo, he is widely regarded as one of the most perceptive ambient selectors around, known for crafting subtle, deeply immersive soundscapes. As co-founder of the influential electronic music blog MNML SSGS, Chris has played a key role in shaping contemporary listening culture, and this mix is a perfect reflection of his thoughtful and understated approach.

About the mix he said:
"Sometimes when I wake up very early, I put on a Deep Breakfast mix at low volume and it provides a comforting soundtrack for daybreak. With that in mind, I wanted to make something that matches what I like to hear at the opening or end of a long day. The tracks selected, the structure and flow of the set are meant to be gentle and careful: paced, placed and spaced to open and evoke. Thoughts and emotions circle and cycle, memories and experiences blur and overlap. The mix is meant to capture some of those sensations. It was recorded in Tokyo in January 2026, and is titled, Ochazuke no Aji (お茶漬の味). Best wishes for the year ahead, Chris SSG"
