in May of 1998 I was suffering from undiagnosed obsessive disorder and the focus of my monomania was the Spice Girls. In the throes of a manic episode I composed a five-track (one for each Spice Girl) micro-musical about myself having a manic episode. Now almost three decades later, I've pulled out the old demos and used AI to rebuild them in the style & spirit in which they were originally composed. The micro-musical tells the story of a lonely & troubled 21-year old who dares to dream a dream so powerful that it could tip his mind over into madness. Can anything bring Danny back from full-blown mental collapse?

The second track of my album, Explore Me, this track represents my formative years, the 1990s.

Originally from Virginia, I moved to Pembroke Pines (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale) and would live here from age three to age ten.

As such, this track uses sounds similar to the house and popular music prevalent during the 90s.

The artwork here features a photo of me at age five inside a box similar to what games for the Super Nintendo (Super Famicom in Japan) would come in.  This game system was enjoyed by my friends & I.

Nice to meet you. My name is Randy Derricott, an Autistic EDM DJ/producer & Pharmacy Tech based in Coral Springs, Florida (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale) by way of Richmond, Virginia.

Active since 2004, I mainly make & play Trance & Progressive House.  I also sometimes let my nerdy side show by playing what I call "Comicontronica" or EDM remixes/covers of songs from video games, anime & the like.

My adventures have had me perform at a number of venues throughout South Florida as well as some of the biggest conventions in the US, among which include Anime Iwai, Otakufest, MegaCon, Kirbiicon, Colossalcon Ohio & Ichibancon in North Carolina.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I put making music on the backburner to focus on my DJing adventures, both on Twitch and, once things eased, live shows.  I've recently decided to jump back into the music making pool again.  While I do have a Soundcloud with music I made under a past alias, I've decided to make a brand new Soundcloud, since I'll be using my real name going forward.
