Serving as a pioneering early example of UK Street Soul. A side explores the romantic theme brought to the table by the lyrics in a more pop/radio edit oriented manner whereas the B-side takes things down a more leftfield route with 3 different excursions in early 90's smooth Balearics ranging from early breaky/triphop nuances to elements borrowing from dancehall music. Including a previously unreleased mix found deep in Lol's master tapes.

Excited to present the next installation of our selector series, this time straight from Lima, Peru. "El Hit de la Medianoche" is a project that aims to recover the Peruvian musical legacy, collecting treasures across different regions in Peru since 2000, restoring records, digitalizing tracks and archiving hits, and doing pirate FM radio presentations. 

For this episode, the mystery mind behind "Hit de la Medianoche" made a deep dig into his collection and has dusted of a vinyl-only selection of danceable records, preparing a medley-style mix of previously unheard psych funk, soul, disco, and different styles and crossovers of latin music across different decades from Peru, called "El Paraíso del Boogie". Enjoy!
