Episode 13 - Brazil

Brazil, one of the most precious places to me on this earth.
I was lucky enough to live in and out of Sao Paulo last year for a few months. Waking to papayas and acaí, trips to the padaria and through dense green jungly mountains, being shown a whole new world of music, rhythm and energy that is a complete contrast to what I had known before. I think that maybe explains at least a little of my fascination.

This one has been one of the hardest - how to squeeze this country into one hour? So many artists with so many gem tracks.
This mix is more about my favorite tracks than giving you a diverse 'unheard' selection.. this is only the beginning.
I’ll just have to do a part two!

Samba, Choro, Latin Jazz, Frevo, Bossanova, Tropicalia, and Forró are just a few of the styles of music you can find within Brazil’s rich, never-ending music offerings.
