For this 1st EP, Kitsune explores a universe located between forest and darkpsy, powerful, almost noisy, and at the same time very atmospheric. Lost, ghostly voices and melodies escape from thick and enveloping layers of sound. The listener / dancer evolves in a mysterious landscape sometimes organic, forest, swampy, populated by vaporous spirits, sometimes abstract, industrial, cybernetic.
We hope you will get lost in this EP of 4 powerful tracks with a captivating atmosphere and a sophisticated sound design!

Kitsune is Yoshi originally from Fukuoka, Japan and moved to Australia in 2010. Kitsune is Japanese word for the fox. In Japanese culture, spirits play a vital role and one of the most important is the kitsune, or fox spirit.

In 2006, Yoshi discovered the psychedelic trance scene in Japan wherein he immediately fell in love with its music and people. Especially, he got strongly connected with dark psytrance which was extremely popular in his hometown back then.

In 2017, Yoshi begun his Dj career as Kitsune mainly focusing on dark psy. In 2020, Kitsune started to produce his own music with a passion for creating deep storylines unique to each production. Kitsune delivers something fresh with an undertail of hauntingly familiar and the primary source for his inspiration is the energy he feels from nature, and shamanic activities, and so it is in nature where you will see him at his best.
