The first is French, the second Italian, Jerry Bouthier and Andrea Gorgerino form London-based music duo JBAG.
Pioneer of the French house/rave scene with late brother Tom, Jerry Bouthier is part of the Kitsuné family, sound designer of Vivienne Westwood and other fashion labels as well as A&R of respected indie-dance imprint Continental records (which gathers a global cast of rising talents: Reflex, Shindu, Cyclist, Mannequine, Mjolnir, Boys Get Hurt…).
A classically trained virtuoso who started piano at 5, studied harmony at 12 and graduated from SAE, Andrea Gorgerino boasts unparalleled musicality, making him a prodigious force in the studio.
 
The two were resident djs at London’s infamous BoomBox club (now morphed into style mag Ponystep) and can often be found spinning at the fashion world’s best parties (Sonia Rykiel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Colette, Givenchy, Gareth Pugh, Acne, Club Sandwich, Top Shop, Le Baron…).
Bonding over a mutual passion for making people dance, these two are like children with music toys in the studio, drawing from their multiple influences (indie, italo, disco, house, electro, funk)… all tied up by a resonating fondness for sad yet happy melodies and the will to bring inspired energy to the dancefloor.
 
Bouthier has released several mixed cds on Kitsuné among which the Soleil summer-themed series (with label boss Gildas) and the brand new Trip Mode concept (http://www.bit.ly/W9Ib3j). JBAG have remixed Two Door Cinema Club, The Sugababes’ Siobhan Donaghy, Ladyhawke, S-Express, RÜFÜS, Jupiter, Punks Jump Up, Gigamesh, Scarlet Fantastic etc and are about to release their fourth single, the follow up to tropical anthem ‘Mogadisco’ (http://www. bit.ly/1qnCCut) and 'Through Blue’ their collaboration with Poland’s electropop champs Kamp!.
