Kitty LaRoar sings with Nick Shankland at the wurlitzer electric piano.
The apparent simplicity of this 1949 Young/Washington tune lends itself well to improvisation, becoming a quite popular vehicle amongst jazzers.
The Wurlitzer EP200 played by Nick lives at Cowshed Studio where this track was recorded the old-fashioned way, all-analogue on 2" magnetic tape.

My Foolish Heart

A breakthrough song for Nat King Cole, "Nature Boy" [1947] by Eden Ahbez tells the story of a "strange enchanted boy", who is said to have "wandered very far...over land and sea".
This version by Kitty LaRoar & Nick Shankland - Summer of 2014.
Recorded all analogue on 2" tape at Cowshed Studio London.
