There are 9 VanDolls, alumni of Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society's Becoming Burlesque program. Born in East Vancouver in 2010, the troupe has been performing around the local mainland for over 1 year now. 
 
We experiment with music, themes, and people in big productions (Video Game Burlesque: Pew Pew!), fundraisers (Help Clare Kick Cancer, Burlesque for the Cure, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada), collaborations (CultureDef, DE Kollektiv, Vancouver Make-Up Effects) and guest performances (Taboo Revue, Electro Swing Club, Show-Us-Your-Wits)
 
Burlesque is striptease, comedy, expression, art, ideas, connection, collaboration and sometimes the act is just too damn funny not to do it. The VanDolls are Vancouver's newest and largest burlesque troupe
