When I first heard about the opportunity to enter a remix competition for one of my favorite trance labels, Elliptical Sun Recordings, I hopped on it immediately. Although I did not place in the remix contest, I must say, it was an absolute pleasure working with stunning vocals from Linnea Schossow and melodies of Andromedha to create a bass-heavy, Progressive Trance banger. [Behind The Track]

Welcome to the fifty-third release of Launch Records. This time we've got a new track by Jonny Oski, False Alarm and Sim Mode called ‘Feelings’.

The song starts immediately with the vocal and chords which are following the vocal. On top of that, some atmospheric sounds are added in the background. After a while, a melody is playing together with a clap. This melody is the same melody as in the drop. Together with this melody, an uplifting drum is playing which has an uplifting rhythm.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a powerful house track. Hereby the drop has two different parts in it. In the overall drop, the melody gets the main attention. In the first part, you hear the same melody as the melody in the build-up. But this time with much more power in it. To do this, a hard baseline is added on top of the melody. To give more variation to the track there’s a second part in this drop. In this part, there are different sounds used and a different melody. The baseline remains the same. The drop has a blend of all three of the producers. You hear the styles really well in this drop.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a second release together with Jonny Oski and we would love to welcome False Alarm and Sim Mode with their first release on Launch. We are proud to have a release with those really talented DJs.
