ALL THE TRACKS ON HERE I RECORDED AT THE AGE OF 13 WITH MY OLD BAND, THE RITTS, AT ALIVE STUDIOS, WADEBRIDGE, CORNWALL. CONFLICT IS A STRING QUARTET I WROTE IN MY FIRST YEAR OF A LEVELS, AND A STROLL THROUGH THE MEADOWS WAS MY SECOND YEAR COMPOSITION.

I started playing drums at the age of 7 at school with my first teacher Zena Walker, I really enjoyed drumming and my family decided that I needed to be pushed further with one to one dedicated sessions outside of school and so I started to study with Toby Perrett. Toby then went off to University and I was lucky enough to study under Tim Brooks through a Cornwall Music Scholarship. Under Toby and Tim I quickly progressed through the Trinity Guildhall Grade system up to and including Grade 6 at the age of 12. At the age of 13 my family moved to Gloucestershire and I began to study under Greg Roberts following the Rockschool syllabus Grade 8. 

During all this time I have been fortunate enough to study with some amazing players, both at the Freddie Gee Drum Academy every year and in private lessons. At the FGDA I have studied under Craig Blundell, Steve White, Damon Wilson, James Hester, Ralph Salmin and Richard Jupp, a real who's who of modern drumming. Outside of the FGDA my parents have given me the opportunity to study with Jason Bowld and Damon Wilson on a regular basis. I feel VERY lucky to have been given such opportunities and I intend to keep working hard.

I have been in bands, most notably The Ritts. I recorded an EP with them in March 2012 (I was 13) and I appeared at numerous venues around the country including The Fleece in Bristol and some smaller festivals.

I have been in the final 40 of The Young Drummer of the Year twice, I have received special mentions in two talent shows I have appeared in with my own drum composition.

In 2013 I joined Great Western Brass Band and I have also been asked to step up to play for Brunel Brass Band in May 2013.

I auditioned for The Academy of Music and Sound in 2012 for a 2014 entrance and was accepted two years early :)

Recent achievements include:

Grade 8 in Trinity Guildhall Drum kit with 90%
Grade 7 in Trinity Alto Saxophone with 93%
Completion of both GCSEs and A levels
