La musique de JUMO se caractérise par une dualité propre. Comme un paysage du Nord où la chaleur colorée d’une aurore boréale ferait l’amour avec le froid polaire des neiges éternelles, JUMO marrie la danse et le spleen dans un tourbillon de notes ravageur. Au hasard d’un titre on découvre une basse groovante sur un beat chaloupé et des notes de synthés aux mélodies lo-fi et mélancolique. Flume rôde, Siriusmo guette, Hudson Mohawke acquiesce. La musique de JUMO s’inscrit dans cette mouvance électronique à la fois tendance et contemporaine. Elle mélange les genres, brouille les pistes et magnifie l’audace grâce à une production léchée. 
Solitaire schizophrène traversant les rues sombres d’un Gotham City à la recherche du sens de la vie, JUMO se projette dans le réel et dans ses rêves et nous y ouvre ses multiples portes.

Throughout the EP, JUMO becomes a storyteller where each track acts as a chapter: the main character is hunted by a tortured personification of his unconscious, which results in an audio-visual experience, reflective of the intricate conflict of the two. Composed of 5 chapters, JUMO journeys through a fable exploring the duality of birth, temporality and consciousness. By depicting antagonistic voices for these themes, the producer transcends the apparent paradoxes to create a nuanced and imaginative world, where “Hylé” finds its purpose. The process for the EP’s music composition and narration began in October 2013 and lasted a year. Recorded in Paris, “Hylé” is the result of an introspective work using different medium such as music, videos and graphic designs. Consequently, the EP had the time to mature in JUMO’s mind and continues to do so with the interpretation of others.

Fizzikx presents Jam 01 a pure classic house inspired track that gives off a soulful vibe with a warm funky rhodes bassline and comes with a remix package stacked to the hilt with goodness. 
 Artfunk throws his hat into the ring with the first remix on this package and delivers a classy 4x4 slammer with tight claps, heavy kicks and luscious dubby bassline, definitely one to get any dance floor moving. 
On the second remix garage legend, Dem2 is on remix 2 demonstrates his four to the floor production style with a deep, dark bassline complimented by his signature stabs and chops and skippy percussion.         
Brazilian Garage House badman, Callvin picks remix 3 and gives his take on Jam 01 with a funky piano breakdown and raw crunchy percussion complimented with a warm and inviting melody and well refined low end. 
Pogo House Big Bossman Martin Depp delivers remix 4 the Chuck Norris remix and brings the tempo down a notch but adds big inverted style wobble on the bassline ready to shake up the dancefloor. 
Lastly, Dem 2 stamps his authority and takes another shot at Jam 01 with a 2 step, trademark vibe that Dem2 is so well known for with the Sunday Gangster Steppa Mix.  Reconstructed 2 step kicks with syncopated percussion and choppy bass stabs ensure you can get your shuffle on to this 2 step number. 
If anyone’s ever in any doubt that garage is alive and bubbling on the underground circuit in 2019, then simply shove this EP in front of them!

When Pelikann soars home to his Saucy nest, we think you know that combination spells absolute carnage. Fresh off the back of releases with Bingo Bass and Circus Records, he is due to land with that Saucy goodness on the 15th April with a brand new single entitled 'It Was Inevitable'. 

Gravelly pads, pounding drums and an urgent arpeggio set the scene for an onslaught of epicness. That is before the urgency is stripped back into a haunting melody that drones over a ticking clock supported by vinyl crackles as the tension is gradually built. The track takes flight with a climactic flurry of Pelikann's signature sounds as assertive stabs play call & response with a manic popping synth that evolves into various melodic and rhythmic switch ups throughout. 

Seeing as we haven't had a solo release from our feathered friend in a while, 'It Was Inevitable' that he would eventually return with an overly aggressive heater!
