Remember when we said we were ending this series? Yeeeeeeah that totally went well. The Remix's retires like Terry Funk (props if you get the reference). But when we keep getting completely brilliant remixes coming in that result in absolutely stacked volumes like this one, how could we not keep it going? 

And oh boy when I say stacked, I mean STACKED. The legendary Phuture Assassins, whose contributions to hardcore as a genre cannot be overstated, turns in a killer take on Abyss' Soundclash. The Hemp Knight DJ Mannik puts his signature spin on Liquid Crystal's Radiate. Jungle rising star Tim Reaper stops by for a stellar remix of Ant To Be's Bells On The Way, and rounding it out is an in-house pairing, with KF secret weapon Shoreman doing the honours on DJ Beeno's It's On. 

Like I said, stacked.

Boey Audio Proudly Presents Our Thirteenth Free Artist EP from BMA (@bma215).


When we heard BMA was making moves in the realm of Production we eagerly followed along his progress via clips and dubs, eventually he sent some bits we really really liked that showed great progress in his work.

We knew we had to bring it top the table and sort an EP, our Right Hand man from the States Autosymbol (@autosymbolism) on Remix Duties, you know it's a gonna be aN Atmospheric Deep Break Driven EP.

"Prime" sets the scene with an ever progressing halftime beat, a wide atmosphere and deep tones start the EP off and give a taste of whats to come.

The EP's title track "The Forward" goes deeper, with an enthralling intro, upfront mids and progressive percussion.

"Black Ice" is a cold deep beat with some interesting Foley FXs and High-end Percussion. The haunting mid and breaks roll this one out while still keeping it minimal. BMA's Mid-Range play bring it all together nicely, injecting some energy into the groove and vibe.

The penultimate track "Square Root" keeps BMA's signature tone going with some interesting FX and Pattern work. Slick Progressions keep the experimental vibe going and lead perfectly into the EP's final track.

Autosymbol then takes the reigns with his break heavy flip of Square Root that cuts deep. With an odd mixture of footwork and half-time influences, Hefty Breaks Driving the track and analog pads against a disjointed perc line, this one really set itself apart for us here at the label. Awesome work from the promising Minnesotan Bass Monger!
