About the Mix: This mix was made between the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo during the end of Pisces season and the Spring Equinox. I wanted to capture the restlessness, excitement and overwhelm of this seasonal death/birth moment. Processing darkness on a sunny day. Thresholds of gestation and decay. That yearning to quiet the mind with the warm glow and gentle breeze, to let sensation reign again. Those early spring afternoons crashing off the overload of vitamin D, dazed & sun-glazed, head empty, skin cooked. Happy Fools' day.
 
About the DJ: I’m interested in the tension (and release) found by blending different musical forms, and modes of DJing. I love programming for FM radio. I grew up around records, my grandad operated the Association of Professional Record Players – a private events organization – starting in the 1970s in Etobicoke, Ontario. I work in a used record store and co-operate the small press vinyl label Personal Records with Jackson Darby. I’m much more interested in what DJing has to tell us about the past and present than “where the art form is headed”. It’s all for the dancers, romancers, dreamers, schemers.
