DJ for about 25 years.

RAVE, NU-NRG, Trance, ACID Techno, Hard House, Techno, Hard Dance, Tech Dance, Hard Style, etc.
In 2021, met gizm0x, makers of the TB-303 clone, and moved on to PEAKTIME TECHNO , MELODIC TECHNO and HARD TECHNO.

In the 1990s, influenced by RAVE, he started going to clubs. Influenced by the music and performance of YOJI BIOMEHANIKA, who he met there, he became a fan. From there, he became seriously into dance music and started DJing at clubs in the late 1990s.
In the early 2000s, he also experienced event staff.
In 2021, became resident DJ at Profoundradio.com in the UK.

Bio
Natural born digger, classically trained in music and multi instrumentalist, Paris-based DJ and producer Saltimbanq draws inspiration from a confluence of genres ranging from shoegaze indie rock to high intensity techno to create a blend of enigmatic indie dance, dark disco and italo body music infused with acid and new wave undertones, flirting at times to the edge of trance territory.

His musical heritage inspires him, be it behind the decks or into the studio, to craft intense and emotionally charged soundscapes underpinned by powerful beats and engaged basslines.

From the vibrant streets of Stockholm, Marcus Christiansen is a DJ, producer and creator of the label Club Mackan. Inspired by the synth sounds of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, Marcus has created his own unique sound by blending elements of Italo, EBM, Synthwave and Trance.

With a mission to uplift and spread happiness across the dancefloor, Marcus’s DJ sets weave together playful melodies with driving basslines, groovy disco beats with arpeggiated synthesizers, creating a journey that oscillates between joyous highs and touching depths, surely to leave a smile on everyone's faces.

With multiple releases under his belt, his own imprint Club Mackan and his own local club night Italo Body Nights, Marcus has become a familiar face within the modern italo disco scene. His music is played frequently around the world and has been played in places such as Panorama Bar, HÖR and The Lot Radio. His own ITALO BODY NIGHTS in Stockholm have seen high profile guests such as Pablo Bozzi, Kendal, Shubostar and Biesmans.

His own imprint Club Mackan has quickly become a popular output within the retro futuristic club scene. I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.
