Hotelier by profession, but his 1st love has always been electronic music... started off listening to techno back in the 2000s, but slowly transitioned into deep house sounds and now it's all progressive and melodic tech with 3 stand out podcasts deepcast series , deep dark progressive & mirage 2020 gaining popularity and a fast growing fan base on soundcloud . 

2021 looks exciting as he has launched his new podcast progressive deep'21  which includes some of the best underground producers in the business, and he's already released his 2 episodes comprising of deep basslines with dark and melodic sounds which is his signature style... enjoy !

Bio:

Denny S from Cologne has been standing behind the mixing desk for over 25 years and has experienced some house, techno and trance phases. But one thing is always true to him on his long way as raver and especially as DJ, the melody, because without it nothing in his sets works. Monotony and triviality in tracks, he doesn't like it at all. Something has to happen to make him tickles somehow. 
After the Tanz- & Firlefanz-Crew retired in 2019, he joined the Zwischenmiete-Crew, who regularly opened the Artheater with melodic techno and their beautiful decoration and cordiality enchanted. Which brings us to the subject: Melodic techno – that's what Denny's heart beats for, because that's exactly where the elements of electronic music are in it, which give him the tickle and make the music become a real elixir of life for him.

What was your most significant club / festival moment?
"One of the most impressive and outstanding moments was on the Sonne Mond & Sterne Festival, where I got invited for a DJ Contest. My playtime was at 6 in the morning and the booth was located directly at the beach of the lake. The morning sun rose above the lake and around 1.000 people danced in front of me and startet screaming by one of my tracks. This was an absolute goosebump moment."

Who inspired you the most on your path as an artist?
"There are many artists who inspired me over the years, startet by Jan Hammer through whom I was "infected" with electronic music. But also Kerry Chandler, Dave Clarke, or Gorge - founder and owner of 8Bit Recordings, have influenced my musical path. But if you are asking about one special artist, I would name Kastis Torrau as his sounds and productions had impressed and influenced my a lot in the last past years."

What do you do to get into a creative state?
"Well, I would rather say that creativity is always inside me, sometimes it just hides and need to be a little bit tickled to come out. This could be a track to which I listen, a good coffee or a co-working session with a friend in the studio, or sometimes just the smile of my wife. There is no explicit way to get into that state."

Playing in front of other people and partying with our friends are the things we miss the most. We used to go out a lot and we really hope that we can continue to do that soon...

Besides our very similar taste in music, we share the love for food in general and especially for the Southeast Asian cuisine.

🗯🗯 What’s your favorite drink while being behind the decks in the Club? 🗯🗯

Some kind of routine established during the last years: we tend to drink beer before and at the beginning of our sets. Probably the bavarian roots are the reason why we never forget to have at least one beer per club night. Later on, as the energy rises, beer is gradually substituted by Gin Tonic.
