Indiana native Sativa Di Stress aka Ms.Stress was born to be on the microphone.  She has managed to develop her style and writing skills through poetry and inspirations from artist such as Mary J. Blige, Missy, Bone, Twista, Jay-Z and others. At the age of thirteen, Ms. Stress made her debut in a popular documentary about Gary, Indiana entitled "Live or Die in G.I". A forty second tongue twist demonstrated that there was a new artist on the rise.

At twenty, Ms. Stress moved to Indianapolis,Indiana to escape the tough streets of East Chicago,Indiana. Sativa has opened up for such artist  as Shawnna, Twista,Lil Webbie,Boosie and more. She has giving electrifying performances across the country from D.C to N.Y and now ATL and has self managed her career since 2011. In 2013,  Sativa relocated to Atlanta to continue her grind. Her signature “Red Hair”, and gritty street flow has already has made her a cut above the rest.

Sativa Di Stress has been featured in such underground magazines  as Hot Block Magazine NY, Midwest H.Y.P.E World Wide, Midwest Leak INDY, ScoopINDY, NuvoINDY, and OzoneTX. She has independently released her first album entitled "Blowin Smoke" and her second project "The Reign" followed in Summer of 2013. Sativa has now established herself as a "Designer of the DIVA"through her own company “Sativa Diva Designz” . She's a one woman show and embodies the versatility just as the cannabis Sativa plant should. She has done everything from stand up, to hosting to throwing breast cancer awareness events. Sativa isn't just your present day, overly sexed female rapper with fake body parts.  She represents the voice of every woman with the goal of creating their own lane.
