Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana, J-S.A.N.D. is an artist known for his thought-provoking lyricism, hard-hitting production, and witty wordplay. J-S.A.N.D. is also a producer, graphic designer, director, & film editor.

The name “J-S.A.N.D.” is an acronym which stands for “Jaleel Supplies All Needs & Demands” which is a nod to his versatility as a creative visual artist, producer, and songwriter, and his ability to authentically speak to the varied life experiences and feelings of his listeners.

J-S.A.N.D. started producing at age 7 and rapping at age 9. From 2012 – 2022, while he was in middle school and and through college, he released a number of majority self-produced singles, mixtapes, and music videos that garnered a great deal of attention across various social media outlets. His relentless self-promotion caught the eyes of many notable Hip-Hop figures including Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, which later led to him featuring on and and co-producing “The Vow” on LL Cool J’s 2024 LP, “The FORCE,” executive produced by Q-Tip.
