Unreleased and not mastered old spoken word from us in Fikt. Ambient electronic music with read up spoken word and poetry in Icelandic (íslenska) 

The experimenting process of the poem and the spoken word in the song is inspired by the river Nile and the Temples in Ancient Egypt. Meditated and experienced  as visions and initiations from the past or former life during meditation and then written down afterwords after memory. Inspired as well of the amazes of history of mankind. Or just simply made up fiction! Depends how you look at it and wich glasses each of us uses.

Folk, jazz and experimental in Icelandic, English and Danish. 

The group was founded by singer and composer Nina Björk Eliasson and guitarist and composer Hasse Poulsen in 1994. The two were joined to begin with by cellist Maria Bisgaard and drums and percussionist Lars Juul. Later came Martin percussionist Martin Bregnhøi and several others have played with the group throughout the years, like the guitarist Morten Steen, base players Olav Gudnasson and Henrik Simonsen, violinist Jørgen Dickmeiss, organ player Iver Kleive, percussionist and vibraphonistThomas Sandberg and fagotist Aida Nadeem.     

Together they made the 3 albums: 'Sortner du sky' (1995, Av-Art), 'Í kjól úr vatni' (1999, Tutl) and 'Lemon River' (2001, Tutl), featuring and composed over texts by Nina Björk Árnadóttir, Simon Grotian, Lene Henningsen, Steinunn Sigurdardóttir, Sjón, Linda Vilhjálmsdóttir, Sigurdur Pálsson, and Chinese folk poetry. 

Klakki played concerts all over Denmark and in Germany and Sweden. On this profile you can listen to previously unreleased concert recordings by Klakki as well as tracks from their studio albums. 

Klakki have not been playing together since 2006.
