Next up on Co-Accused Records - No Static / Automatic label boss ARA-U is piloting the craft with his NO FUTURE EP. The Venezuelan Electro producer provides four analogue cuts accompanied by a Radioactive Man remix.

It's a cosmic liftoff with the mind warping sonic sounds of 'Planet Destroy'. Radioactive Man's funk fueled remix has an infectious 303 bassline that takes the listener on a jackin 'journey. On the flip side 'Exit Now' moves into driving hypnotic synths with sizzling percussion throughout. 'No Future' dips the dancefloor into a twisting wormhole of intergalactic grooves. The EP closes with the dark dystopian synths and extraterrestrial layers of 'It’s Only Lies Around Me'.

His new release brings exactly what you would expect from this Electro mastermind, that is to say it is filled with expertly crafted tracks. Carl told me that the track selected to premiere on @DarkScienceElectro is so-named for the place where the track was produced; In his car the Skoda Yeti. All 4 tracks fall into the 'dancefloor-ready' category, with less focus on beautiful melody and more emphasis on driving rhythms and infectious arpeggios.

This is a new, mysterious artist making their debut, and an impressive one at that: the title track is a thoughtful number thanks to the lingering chords which hang behind muted drums and perc, while "Birdman" has a chirping bird lost in a rather eerie landscape populated by a corrugated bassline and unsettling chords. Last of all is the excellent "Coma Void", with stepping, jungle influenced rhythms and a tense vocal loop that pans about the mix to make for something brilliantly dynamic.
