This recording of my most recent gig at MaHalla reflects the shift in musical style that I went through during the past months. I am noticing that I can authentically find myself more & more in the spheres of deep, tribal & somewhat mystical sounds of progressive down- and midtempo music. This sonic journey is infused with shamanic and later on psychedelic influences before rounding the journey up with some cloudy, dreamy tracks to generate a smooth transition back into reality. People who know me know that i also like harder and faster sounds. With our latest Sotto Sopra Sender Club takeover, I finally had the opportunity to showcase this in the basement. It was a lot of fun and the atmosphere was very intense and great. Thanks to everyone involved and dancing, I’m really happy with the outcome and it won’t be the last time I played a faster set.
