Still a wonky ride on Demas’ beats.
We passed the first 20 years of the label Klangscheiben and we keep on going
to run the label. The first release on Klangscheiben, which was available in all
download-shops, was made by Demas. So, we thought it would be a must to
start the next 20 years again with a release from him.
The tracks took a long time to shape this EP. It was a back and forth with his
computer and his modular system. Soutine added a space-tribal-groove-kind-
of-remix to it. Perfectly done!
A lot of things changed over the past 20 years, but the signature sound of him
and the label did not change at all.
So have a seat and enjoy the ride into year 21.
To say it with the words of the first release written by Jan Weigel:
“Intelligent music that will find it´s home on dancefloors of high quality.”

Seit Sommer 2004 betreibt das Liebhaberlabel Klangscheiben - Records seine Geschäfte mit Hingabe zum Minifunk mit maximaler Wirkung. Zuerst gestartet als Tollplatz für Groove- Gespinste im Sounddesign von Labelowner Demas, erweiterte sich das Artistraster zusehends. Seitdem ist weltweit viel minimales Wasser die Täler hinabgeflossen – die Talsperren drohten zu überfluten... Nicht so die Staudämme im beschaulichen Steinach in Thüringen, denn finest Selection mit anspruchsvoller elektronischer Körpermusik statt Peaktime - Überschwemmung ist angesagt. Ohne sich auf eine Richtung festzulegen flankiert man zwischen den Stilen House und Techno mit funky Kick und experimenteller Note.

Since summer 2004 the aficionado label Klangscheiben - Records runs its business with dedication to the mini-funk with maximum effect. First started as a rumpling place for groove chimera in the sound-design of label-owner demas, the artist grid expanded appreciably.
