Klangscheiben’s latest is a lesson in weird science from Canadian producers Matt and Mark Thibideau. Fluctuating Timbral Sequences is a fve-track narrative in methodical techno and electronica, a tale of digital symbiosis that sees the two artists working together seamlessly. Daniel Alvarez, better known as Dubpoet or Suferdesign, is a Colombian-born DJ, producer and graphic designer currently based in Montreal. Over the past three years, he has been cultivating an eclectic and versatile sound, ranging from house and techno to minimal, disco, electro, world music, ambient and more. He has played at various local clubs, afterparties, and radio shows, including Le Salon Daomé, New Haus, Pow Pow Club, Barbossa, Durocher basement, and n10.as.

Seit Sommer 2004 betreibt das Liebhaberlabel Klangscheiben - Records seine Geschäfte mit Hingabe zum Minifunk mit maximaler Wirkung. Zuerst gestartet als Tollplatz für Groove- Gespinste im Sounddesign von Labelowner Demas, erweiterte sich das Artistraster zusehends. Seitdem ist weltweit viel minimales Wasser die Täler hinabgeflossen – die Talsperren drohten zu überfluten... Nicht so die Staudämme im beschaulichen Steinach in Thüringen, denn finest Selection mit anspruchsvoller elektronischer Körpermusik statt Peaktime - Überschwemmung ist angesagt. Ohne sich auf eine Richtung festzulegen flankiert man zwischen den Stilen House und Techno mit funky Kick und experimenteller Note.

Since summer 2004 the aficionado label Klangscheiben - Records runs its business with dedication to the mini-funk with maximum effect. First started as a rumpling place for groove chimera in the sound-design of label-owner demas, the artist grid expanded appreciably. Since then much minimal water flowed down the valleys worldwide - the dams threaten to flood… But not the dams in the tranquil little city Steinach in Thuringia, because finest selection with sophisticated electronic body-music instead of peak-time flooding is announced.
