Hi, I’m Moonman Mike. I’ve been making beats for the past 10 years. Music has ALWAYS been a passion of mine, but I never really grasped how to market myself and my beats. Because of this, I’ve spent the last decade just making beats behind the scenes and only showing some of them to a select few people. This is what a lot of people would call “a waste”. Which I agree with in a sense. However, my love for music overpowers anything I do. I always found myself in a position where music had to take the back seat because it didn’t bring any money in. Obviously, this was because of my lack of marketing and putting myself out there for people to hear what I do. I never thought I’d see the day where I started recording on my own beats. After a few “songs”, I really started to enjoy hearing my music. It was on a deeper level than me just hearing my beats. I was able to put more emotion and passion into it. It was only about a week or so into recording that I found it was easier to show people what I make. Instead of them just hearing beats with no lyrics, they’re now hearing actual songs. MY songs. I started getting some great feedback and this made me want to record more and more as the days passed. There’s something about making a full song from scratch that is so fulfilling. It’s tough to explain. So, I’d like to show you. Come with me on this journey as I follow my PASSION and HEART.
