Based in Barcelona, Pedro Capelossi is a growing name in the underground deep house scene worldwide. As a Producer Pedro's tracks were released on important specialized labels such as Seven Villas, The Soundgarden, Sound Avenue, TOR (When We Dip XYZ), Dream Culture, Loot Recordings, The Purr, Modern Agenda and many more.
Pedro's tracks have counted on support from recognizable names such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn, Pablo Bolívar, Mark Slee, Facundo Mohrr, Powel, Satoshi Fumi, Matt Darrey, Roger Shah, and Airwave just to name a few.
As a DJ he is one of the "Resident DJ" of the Valhalla project in the city of Barcelona, where he has played in some of the best parties alongside names such as Sebastien Leger, Eelke Kleijn, Cid Inc, Fur Coat, Soundexile, Interaxxis and many more.
On his home turf of São Paulo, he is responsible for two important nightlife projects:
UNIK ID, hosting artists like Nick Warren, Cid Inc and Darin Epsilon, as well as the PROGRESSION nights held at one of the most important clubs in Brazil, D-EDGE, supporting world-renowned guest artists all year round.
Pedro's DJ performances focus on underground electronic music, especially progressive house, deep house, techno and downtempo. His versatility to move between different styles depending on audience and event, allows him to perform club gigs same as festivals.

I had the honour to play the main stage of this ginormous NYE afterparty at Kaufleuten in Zurich on the 1st of january, opening doors at 2pm. 

This event is a deeply rooted tradition for me and my friends, and despite of the huge dimension of 2.5k peepz it still feels like a family gathering. Big up to the VaK crew! It's not easy to maintain this vibe.

I took over from a band that played banging 80ies stuff, so I started from scratch, playing kind of my own little warmup first. I took a rather wild path throughout loads of styles and moods, a real journey. I hope you enjoy!

A true deep house soul, artist that is showing remarkable improvement in the last year or so, label leader of Luna The Cat, Below Bangkok, along with Jayadeep and Kiano, produced two beautiful originals for our label! He is standard member of the great Ready Mix Records crew, collaborating with cream of deep house scene, Big Al, Riccicomoto, Tom Lown, Addex, Pano Manara, Jero Nougues, Savvas, Deephope as well as the great Yokoo, who did official remix for his release on Back And Forth! As we said, this release contains two originals and two remixes of the track Mercury. First remix was delivered by talented female producer from Slovenia, Edina, while second remix, and a true comeback, was a job for Hungarian producer, Thomas Stoffer!

Here is a fact: Peacocks live in dense, forested areas where they roost in trees and gather together in flocks called “parties.” They seduce with their dance and their distinctive calling voices. @tomdemac is no stranger to us, with well-played releases on Hypercolour, Electronique Audio and Glasstable, we were happy to offer him a home with Kompakt in 2018 thanks to a collaboration with Real Lies titled “White Flowers”. Tom returns to Kompakt, this time solo with the 3 tracker “Serenade” .

The title track is delicately brought together by a fragile piano rhythm and poetic wisdom over the might of the kick drum. Tom says its best that “Despite it being a little generic adding spoken word talking about music over actual music, the poetic nature of the delivery and description of the effects and emotions that music can bring, really worked with the piano I had written for this song.”

“Seventh Sign” was initially intended an experiment in cello recordings through an effects pedal but ended up being track brimming with pure techno groove. Second Skin is the perfect finale embracing epic elements of broken beat and even IDM sensibilities with a gorgeously misguided horn leading the march.

On Serenade, Tom Demac shows he has what it takes to reconfigure the vitality of what emotive techno can be. A central force that has kept the beat of Kompakt’s heart in rhythm since day one.
