BlindÇhild is the electronic/experimental project of Karim Bornaz, a Tunisian native now based in Cologne. Immersed in the realms of Darkwave and Post-Punk influences, Karim, also known as Nasty Habits (side punk project), has previously released a Post-Punkish EP "Late & on Time." on the UK's greatest METAMOTO in 2023.

As of 2024, BlindÇhild had also 2 EP releases: a self-release EP untitled “Poems of a Loner” surfing from ambient acoustic lines to distorted followed byvan approach to EBM Techno EP untitled “Kalk” on the Italian label BRUTAL FORMS.
BlindÇhild's persona embodies a fusion of shadowy, emotive synthesis waves, reflecting Karim's dedication to crafting a unique musical identity that seamlessly blends organic and electronic sounds. Throughout this mix, listeners are treated to tracks that traverse from slow, hypnotic dark Electronics to robust industrial EBM sounds, showcasing BlindÇhild's versatility and creative vision.

For the fourth edition of our About Repetition podcast, Moritz Riesenbeck presents a one-hour set that works without naming genres. Everything between surface, rhythm and spoken word.

Moritz is a visual artist from Düsseldorf. With his background in architecture, he creates audio-visual stagings for specific locations in which he often collaborates with performing artists and collectives. 
As a drummer, Moritz has a broad background in music production and music, especially Jazz and Rap. Besides many concerts, he realized several spatial surround-audio installation in churches and exhibitions spaces.

About Repetition Podcast Series 008 incoming, this time with Hugo Dirac at the controls.

Hugo's set carves a path through glitched-out soundscapes and broken rhythms, a deliberate detour from the familiar. It features experimental turns, but the EBM and darker textures Hugo is known for are still in the mix. It’s a snapshot of new territories he currently explores in the studio.

Hugo Dirac is a Düsseldorf-based producer, DJ, and sound engineer. His work usually sits in the realm of gritty EBM and techno with a sharp electro edge. Precision and a feel for industrial textures are central, something that likely stems from his background as an audio software developer and mastering engineer. Notable releases include the self-released single "Glyph" and the "Veil EP" on @sharpedrecords.

Hugo is part of the local crew @systemctl_global and also involved with About Repetition.

Building on his enduring affinity for machines, industrial soundscapes, and retro-futuristic aesthetics, his new DJ set steers into notably grittier territory to explore the rougher, noisier sides of Electro with a playful touch. Expect the familiar warmth of Italo-esque synth pads colliding with raw Electro energy and abrasive textures, crafting a sonic experience that feels simultaneously futuristic and powerfully raw.

Egzotikka is the project of Osvaldas Bertašius, a Lithuanian artist based in London. Working somewhere between minimal electronics, post-punk, cold wave, and lo-fi EBM, often using analog machines, dusty drum boxes, tape hiss, and his own voice.
He runs the META MOTO label and radio show, for us an absolutely safe bet for cold wave, post punk and obscure electronics and has released music on Detriti Records and Raw Culture just to name a few, both solo and in collaboration (most recently with Shaknis).

For this mix he went fully 7-inch vinyl, all of them chosen with great care. Moving between minimal wave, post-punk, EBM, lo-fi electronics, synth stuff, between cold and anxious, slow and broken, but always a bit clingy and raw. Enjoy.

Klaus F. (he/him) is a Cologne-based music producer, performer and disc jockey. He translates Beat-Music, EBM and Industrial from the 80s into contemporary electronic music styles. Spontaneous live vocals and experiments are unmistakable at his gigs. Klaus has played alongside acts such as Robert Görl (DAF), Udo Wiessmann (HANDS), ORPHX, Blush Response and Skelesys, at venues such as Tresor.West in Dortmund. He is part of the duo ‘Deutsche Gabbaner’ and co-host of the event series ‘PRAES by About Repetition e.V.’, which takes place at Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf.

Klaus F. (er/ihm) ist ein in Köln ansässiger Musikproduzent, Performer und Discjockey. Er übersetzt Beat-Musik, EBM und Industrial aus den 80er Jahren in zeitgenössische elektronische Musikstile. Spontane Live-Vocals und Experimente sind bei seinen Auftritten unverkennbar. Klaus hat bereits mit Acts wie Robert Görl (DAF), Udo Wiessmann (HANDS), ORPHX, Blush Response und Skelesys gespielt, unter anderem im Tresor.West in Dortmund.
