Being one of the very promising up & coming projects in Drum & Bass, their sound builds its character around deep sonic pressure that is complemented by ‘tech’ influenced percussions and atmospheres. This single is a pinnacle of this production style, with a progressive construction, and flawless technical details.
Side A, featuring MC Resc is the first vocal track on Counterpoint, and it delivers a dark deep vibe that stands out for the way the stabs work with the bassline to deliver an outstanding 4AM style roller. Side B – Gambit, works on a more cheerful note, as its clinical percussion marks the rhythm for a growling bassline with slight neurofunk nuances.
