Node Toad spawned in the delirious haze of late summer 2024.  What began as a half-baked EP title for some @SSurrealien side project rapidly spiraled into a sweaty analog fever dream, committed to riding the warped edges of an alternate Earthen reality. The creature mutated into plural form, Node Toads, when the founding misfit discovered an elusive @Sleven11 crawling out of the murky abyss near Butler Street in Pittsburgh PA.  Together, these two mad scientists of sound carry over 25 years of Guerrilla DJ experiences, emanating a photon cloud of vibes from whatever swampy trench they find themselves in that could only be described as having a heightened sense of things.

The real magic of this bender driven, off the rails audio train, seeps from the grimey undercarriage of the operation:  These marsh dwellers have weaponized an entirely DAWless production approach, without the safety nets of modern digitalization, where every bleepity bloop and womp is engineered from the pulsating guts of synchronized modular machinery.  The result is an utterly unique, raw, blood-shot-eyed, homage to the anarchic sweat soaked underground dance floors of the late 80s and early 90s.  A place where the music broke "rules" not followed them, a land where groove was the only Law.  These amphibians are from the farrr left-field, they're unapologetic, and they tend to gravitate you directly into a time warp of Rave nostalgia.
