DJ Amanda has been a force in the Kansas City house scene since 2001. Known for her heavy, hard-hitting basslines and deep musical intuition, she’s opened for legends like Derrick Carter, Stacy Kidd, Mark Farina, Justin Long, Brett Johnson, Mazi, Karl Almaria, and Pat Nice. Whether she’s crafting a soulful, warming opening set or jacking the house peak-hour style, DJ Amanda knows how to move a crowd.

She fell in love with dance first—growing up choreographing routines to Janet and Paula with friends and learning any move she could get her hands on. In 2001, she stepped into the KC rave scene as a dancer and instantly knew she needed to be behind the decks. Just four weeks after experiencing her first house music community—while sober—she had turntables.

A classically trained violinist, Amanda blends raw rhythm with refined musicality. And when she’s not spinning, you’ll still find her on the dance floor, front and center, giving everything back to the music.

MZ ARTIZ a.k.a. Cristina Ortiz is known for her tribal, Latin House sets, fused with funky jazz, a worldly music beat with a concentration on percussion and vocals. 
She is also active in the Burner Community and has played sets for theme camps in Black Rock, Nevada such as her resident Seattle camp, Camp Conception (in which she has her own Latin Night - Cha Cha Bitch), San Francisco’s BAAAHS, and Portland-based Tectonic.  
No matter, if it is a hard dance floor or a dusty one, she will get your feet tapping and your body moving, in no time, you will find yourself in smooth elegance with her beats.
