The psychedelic experience is the mere manifestation of the human being’s inner world. Its universality can connect two different people with agnostic point of views in two separate locations. Pablo Jacobo carved into another entrerriano’s musical lineage, Linares Cardozo, to get a full ticket to this experience. From that starting point Pablo Jacobo created “La San Llamarada”: an open space work, wide and vast where dark and eerie figures arise among the Entre Ríos jungle .

Pol Nada decides to distort his own musical path again, this time with a folkloric approximation from a work based in the investigation of a musician born in his home town (La Paz, Entre Ríos).

Chamamé, chamarrita, and throttled chamamé are the main threads on this new Pol Nada’s album, filled with psychedelic and paralisergic elements inmersed in a dark cloud enlightened with a blaze of digital delays and reverbs which expands itself as the silence of a nocturne river, powered by sharp Dub basslines and darkened guitar strings, which shapes the obscure and shiny Folk songs in this album.

La San Llamarada is a double project in two parts. A first one, containing 8 digital and lisergic folklore songs to be released in March 2017 by Fértil Discos (Buenos Aires) and Mamboretá (Formosa); and a second part featuring exquisite electronic reversions curated by Fértil Discos, gathering artists such as El Remolón, Barda, San Ignacio, among others.

Canto a La Paz + Dandara and Jin Yerei Remixes is an advance of this two releases.

Víctor Lidio Jara Martínez (1932-1973) fue un músico, cantautor, profesor y director de teatro chileno. Fue militante del Partido Comunista de Chile.

La figura de Víctor Jara es un referente internacional de la canción protesta y de cantautor, y uno de los artistas más emblemáticos del movimiento músico-social llamado «Nueva Canción Chilena». Su ideología comunista se refleja en su obra artística, de la que fue pieza central.

Tras el golpe de Estado que derrocó al gobierno de Salvador Allende el 11 de septiembre de 1973, Jara fue detenido por las fuerzas represivas de la dictadura militar recién establecida. Fue torturado y posteriormente asesinado en el antiguo Estadio Chile, que con el retorno de la democracia fue renombrado «estadio Víctor Jara».

Da Iguana is both urban and organic. Instrumentalist ever since he was a kid, Da Iguana has explored many styles until Hip Hop and its instrumentals invaded his life for good and gave him that passion for loops and samples. 
Da Iguana fell for electronic music 4 years ago, revisiting the way he composed and mixed, adding a dosis of his other passion: travelling. From 60 to 140 bpm, from jungle to desert, from ethnic grooves to electronic loops... 

This EP moves between lightness and darkness, gathering Da Iguana’s sonic memories from the jungle & its wildlife (Corcovado), Cuban vibes, Caribbean tropical storms and his encounter with the Surinamese community in Amsterdam…

Da Iguana es tanto urbano como orgánico. Instrumentalista desde pequeño, Da Iguana ha explorado muchos estilos hasta que el Hip Hop y sus instrumentos invadieron su vida para siempre y le dieron esa pasión por los loops y los samples.
Da Iguana se enamoró de la música electrónica hace 4 años, lo que cambió la forma en la que componía y mezclaba, agregando una dosis de su otra pasión: viajar. De 60 a 140 bpm, de la jungla al desierto, desde ritmos étnicos hasta loops electrónicos ...

Este EP se mueve entre claridad y oscuridad, reuniendo los recuerdos sonoros de Da Iguana de la selva y su vida silvestre (Corcovado), las vibraciones cubanas, las tormentas tropicales del Caribe y su encuentro con la comunidad de Surinam en Ámsterdam ...
