FunKapò is a  project born from the musical interaction between Salvatore Cannella (SK) and Carlo Turturici (Funk Mediterraneo).
Its a  mix of hip hop, funk, disco, pop and groove.

FunKapò è un duo, il progetto è nato dall' interazione musicale tra Salvatore Cannella e Carlo Turturici, 
Un mix di hip hop, rap, funk, pop e groove, esattamente l'incontro tra Funk Mediterraneo(produttore di musica deep house) e S K (già autore e interprete dei progetti Nakria, Cannella e SK&Brò). 
I testi interamente originali sono stati scritti a quattro mani, Carlo componendo la strumentale, buttava giù alcuni pensieri, schizzando degli scenari, abbozzando dei temi, colti al volo da Salvatore che come incipit li ha utilizzati per costruire strofe e ritornelli.
La voce è di Salvatore Cannella, la ritmica, i groove ed i loop sono un'idea di Carlo Turturici. 
Undici Canzoni, scritte tutte d'un fiato; la collaborazione partita nell'autunno del 2017 ha portato alla realizzazione di un disco, dall' omonimo titolo "Funkapò". 
FunKapo ' rappresenta il capo degli schiavi e del popolo, che attraverso la musica e la cultura funk mista all hip hop ed al pop ,cerca di dare forza , coraggio e parola a tutti quelli che non ne hanno la possibilità o per ignoranza o per mancanza di forza economica e che vivono in uno stato di sottomissione perenne.
34 minuti la durata del Album, necessari per superare il confine,per la ricerca di un futuro migliore.

Biographie :

Label Manager, Producteur et Dj John aka Biop6, découvre une passion pour les musiques électroniques en 2002, et se met très rapidement au Djing avec l'achat de ses premières platines vinyls .
Il rejoint les membres du collectif  "Citron Vert"  en 2011 dans la ville de Besançon dans l'est de la France. En 2019, il décide de fonder avec 2 amis Suisse, le collectif  "Les Fines Herbes " (collectif aux abords organiques alliant la musique électronique à l’énergie de mère nature). 

Son amour pour la musique prend une nouvelle direction en 2O21 avec l'émergence de son label "Spiritual Nomad Records".Spiritual Nomad se spécialise dans la sélection et la distribution d'artistes électro-organiques du monde entier.
Oscillant entre Downtempo & Electronic / Organic & Progressive Techno, ces artistes finement sélectionnés sauront vous transcender par leurs talents musicaux.
 Il nous dévoile sa culture musicale à travers des Sets alliant le monde Psychédélique au côté underground de la Techno. S'inspirant de ces différents périples autour du monde, il amènera une touche tribal et spirituel à chacune de ses compositions. Offrant ainsi à son public un voyage au fin fond des Abysses, avec des Sets alliant rythmique punchy et bassline groovy. Il a pu se produire sur des événements tels que le Shankra Festival, Time Gate, Primitif Festival, Isis Garden Festival, Eutopia Gathering Festival, ou encore signé sur des labels tels que Kosa Record, Shango Records, Cosmovision Records !

Biop6 discovered a passion for electronic music in 2002. He joined the members of the collective "Green Lemon" in 2011. Then he decided in 2019 to found with some friends the collective "Les Fines Herbes" (really more focused on Techno culture). He will unveil his musical culture through Sets combining the psychedelic world with the underground side of Techno. Inspired by these different travels all around the world, he will bring a tribal and spiritual touch to each of his masterpieces. Offering to his audience a travel in to the depths of the Abyss, with Sets combining punchy rhythm and groovy bassline. He will perform on events such as the Shankra Festival, Time Gate, Primitif Festival or famous club like Borderline with international artists !
