AgainstMe debuts on Renegade Methodz with a four track Ep under the name ‘Diagonal Prism’.
 

Through minimalist composition and with the utmost attention to detail, AgainstMe is contributing a record on the Greek label that is fresh and efficient, maintaining his strong sonic identity to cement himself as a rising player in the global Techno scene with an undisputed ear for what really makes people move.

Record closer ‘Spasmoi’ is an effective club groover with dry drums and bouncing percussive elements, that offers intensity and rhythm all made possible by an artist in control.

As a founding project of Alexander Kowalski, DisX3 has been known for its raw, pure techno since the late 90s and has released music on renowned labels such as Tresor Records and Konsequent Records! Rene Wise, VIL, Rove Ranger and Fabian Wegmeth remix David Löhlein’s ‘VISION I – NYSA’ EP on Vision Ekstase.

Stuttgart’s David Löhlein has been involved in electronic music for a number of years and launched his Vision Ekstase event in his hometown of Stuttgart before providing the inaugural release on the newly formed label which picked up support from the likes of Ben Sims, Luke Slater, Efdemin and many more established names within the techno world. David now invites remixes from Mote-Evolver artist Rene Wise, Planet Rhythm producer VIL and Vision Ekstase residents Rove Ranger and Fabian Wegmeth. 

Rene Wise’s remix of ‘Altai’ is a rolling techno shaker featuring revolving percussion, shimmering bass grooves and the hypnotic vocal from the original floating above.

Belgian based Phara makes a huge debut on @soma with "The Great Attractor" EP. With his fast, raw and energetic sound, Phara’s ascent has been quick off the mark and this latest release has the young producer stretch himself farther with cleverly produced and exciting tracks. UK Techno don, Setaoc Mass backs up this already masterful EP, lending his own prowess to the title track.

Great Attractor leans on 90s, spaced-out techno vibes as fast paced 909s fire against the backdrop of rapid, modulating synths. Setaoc Mass’ remix comes up next, offering a deeper more restrained affair. However, as usual, the adept nature of his productions deal out devastating effect. On the flip, Mission 3,2,1 delves into dubbed out synth work whilst retaining drive and groove. Further dub explorations are found on closing track The Andromeda Manoeuvre. Spacial synth work and atmospherics ebb and flow as Phara’s hard hitting and relentless percussive work deals the final blow.

2021 opens with the 50th release for Animal Farm Records in the form of Spanish born newcomer, Blanka. A serious talent, Blanka's tracks show a great depth to her production. Tough yet deep sound designer is a clear mark of this young producer's talent. Backed with a superbly crafted remix by rising star Yant, the Manchester born producer weaves his own unique take of the EP's title track.
