mateo is a french DJ and producer based in Marseille. His musical journey began with the psychedelic sounds of free parties in Nantes region, where he co-founded the collective A’Sonor. With this group, he experimented various genres, from progressive psytrance to melodic techno and minimal. He then immersed himself in club culture and gravitated towards a mental techno that plays with progression and depth, offering an immersive experience.

His style, deeply influenced by his work as sound engineer in contemporary dance, is characterized by an organic and sensitive approach to sound. He favors texture and groove over melody, creating sonic journeys that invite a sensory and mental experience.

His music explores movement and energy, aiming to forge a connection between the body and the sound. It invites listeners to be swept away by a techno that is both mental, textured, and immersive.
