The Italian artist who already released on labels such as Diynamic, ATLANT or Renaissance puts his current brand of music production inside this work, focusing on the grooving drum arrangement. After "Aux Amours Oublies" and "Dark Disko Mafioso" this is now a fantastic journey into a forest for all of our lost souls. In addition to this pumping title track we invited Joone again (remember his "Otherdisco" remix?). He is the man for the special contrasts and – oh yeah – this is another brilliant interpretation of an Original work. Focused on the vocals and his typical bassline artwork – what a handscript! Italian duo Armonica has been a project we've discovered a long time ago, so working with the full release with guys is our pleasure and honour.
Their significant productions with Connected Frontline, Stil Vor Talent and Multinotes, as well as the recent remix, done with MoBlack for the legend of afro-beat Fela Kuti, released with Defected, have become the main reasons to love guys' sound.
The main title 'Slave' is powerful and effective banger edging between the melodic influence of laidback Indie Dance vibes and the acid sounds.
We are happy to have Dutch producer Patrice Baumel taking his hands on the remix of 'Slave': going more underground with powerful low-ends work, catchy melodies and the enveloping breakdown, Patrice's version is the undoubted proper floor-worker.
The third 'Ratio' has a profound ground: major synth spots and the melodic elements are unified into the properly performed track.
Enjoy any of the tracks from the release, either all of them; the second will make us happier.
