With an album (REZLP4four) of unreleased tracks from 1986-1995 out already we turn our attention to the future past and proudly present a re-release of Professor Oz's 'Proz' EP. Originally released on Olivier Le Castor's ADSR Records back in '93 it's 5 tracks that were actually recorded in Paris in the late 80's that still sound as fresh today as when they were conceived. Packing a car full of studio gear (Synths, Rhythm Box, FX etc) and taking a road trip from Strasbourg to Paris to record the EP the final result is extremely impressive for a debut record. Up The Prof !

Red Richards - The Return

Slovenian producer, promoter and curator Eliaz is one of the leading figures in his local scene. Landing on UK label Cartulis Music last year, Eliaz has since built strong footholds across Europe with further releases via EYA Records, Paris-based Rakya and two EP's on Italian label, YAY. Gigs at revered clubs have followed, including performances at London's FOLD and even Berlin's Hoppetosse. 

He now lands on the newly-founded, Subterranean Odyssey with 'Instals' EP. Forming the first release for the label, the tracks on 'Instals' EP are representative of the deep connection between Eliaz and the Leed-based label owners.  The A-side 'More Acid Please' holding a particularly special place in their hearts. 

Bars of orbiting chords and gurgling flourishes give way to an arrangement of taut kicks and sharp snares, the foundation of this tracks transmissible groove. Underpinned by a low-slung melody, the main method to this tune's hand-wafting madness lies in the dense, acid licked mid-section.
