It is, at its core, an invitation to return to things we may have forgotten; how to share, how to live, and how to understand our essence as humans, together.

Cosmovision Records presents ¨Elements of These Lands¨

We started as a group of music producers in Montréal, immigrants from Latin America, Europe and friends from Canada, we wanted to reinterpret the elements of this land, from North America such as: nature, native cultures, artistic forms and others. This woke a great interest from artists from all over the world, thing that finally lead to our compilation ¨Element of These Lands¨, in plural, adding a big tribe of friends from all over the world which today are part of our artistic essence, a multi cultural collective.

Our proposal is to make music that evokes respect and consciousness about nature, which understand our cultural differences as a great value for us. We look to go beyond the act of pushing buttons to create digital music, on the other side, we want to inspire ourselves as a collective and invite to reflect about the elements of our land, elements that sometimes western culture forgets, but through art we can analyze, reinterpret and value.

Our first compilation has cultural influences from: Canada, Mexico, France, Chile, Turkey, Belgium, Colombia, Lebanon, Switzerland, Italy and Argentina. 
We want to thank all the producers evolved in this compilation and our artist Mathieu Bories, visual genius of our collective; also everyone who have believed in us and never forgetting you, the people who download and share these voices which are echoes from the land itself, that through artists sing to us to generate awareness of our roots and the elements of our land.

I had the pleasure of playing this set for a (virtual) ecstatic dance hosted by ED Los Angeles last Sunday.  Its always a joy to share my music and see people move to it but there is nothing like the "real thing" of being in the room with each other...this lack of real-time connection has begun to wear on my (and, I think, everyone's) psychology in so many ways and some days I feel really down about it.  I hope this music , like the work of so many of my peers, can be like a candle in the dark for you in these trying times.

In the Burning Man  of 8 years gone by, a story of two wanderers with a history for cross-pollinating the sounds of yesterday with the sounds of tomorrow found their moment. With a shared taste in gourmet percussion, deep and rare rhythms, and cosmic culture, what resulted was KMLN — one of the most time-bending and pulsating acts currently circulating the global deep-eclectic house dance movement. 

The international shapeshifting duo, KMLN (pronounced “Kameleon”) unites Italian producer/multi-instrumentalist Christopher Tooker and Canadian /producer Shawna Hofmann. Find them singing, playing live bass, percussion,  looping  or guest musicians, you never know what to expect, every show is different. As interplanetary travelers and cultural explorers, the KMLN ship bends reality through sound, moving through tempos with layers and layers of mind altering colors.

Last year alone, the KMLN ship landed in over 21 countries worldwide. Their shows have been experienced at some of the most respected festivals including The BPM Festival, Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event, Lightning in a Bottle, Global Eclipse, Art With Me, Summit Series, Air Festival, Art Basel, Symbiosis Gathering, Shambhala, Wonderfruit, The Gardens Of Babylon, Subsonic, Meadows in the Mountains and legendaryBurning Man art cars such as Robot Heart and Mayan Warrior.
Venues worth mentioning are Watergate, The Brooklyn Mirage, Flash Club, Klein, The Grand Factory, Scorpios, Woomoon, Papaya Playa, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, Monarch, Public Works, Katerblau, Open Studios and Sisyphos.

With continuous support received from artists such as Solomun, Acid Pauli, Damian Lazarus, &ME, Rampa, David Meyer, Bedouin, they've also collaborated musically with artists including Mira, Nico Stojan, NU, Sabo, Viken Arman, Francesca Lombardo, Eduardo de La Calle, Christopher Schwarzwalder and their music is found on labels such as Crosstown Rebels , Sol Selectas, Bar25, Touch of Class and Endless.
