Satan Emerges

Track 2 on the new Vast Error album "Catch 322," a collection of Alterniabound-esque jams that may be seen in future walkarounds and flashes! I started this song back in April 2019, when Austin approached me with an idea to make a character theme inspired by Amanaguchi's "The Dark One" off the Scott Pilgrim video game OST. The original track is an intense rock-chiptune fusion packed full of energy, and I tried to harness it best I could on this moody theme for everyone's favorite boy.

Well, someone’s been busy! Y’know, I once heard that anyone could be a good person if they just tried. To be honest, I completely agree with that. Even after everything I’ve seen you do. You know why? Because in a world where you can bring everyone back to life in an instant, you don’t need to try. Because that’s what you’ve been doing isn’t it? Resetting? I managed to trace all recent timeline anomalies to you, so the proof is there. And I get the feeling that the promise I made to protect any humans that fall down here doesn’t apply anymore.
