One of the scene’s true underground heroes, Dave Sumner AKA Function drops his own take on Dense & Pika’s album collaboration with Igor Cavalera and discharges a deadly remix that keeps true to the pure techno sound.

Stamping his pulsating charm onto ‘Hidden’, Function deploys murky acid raindrops and sweatbox energy into his version, reshaping the original into a refined barnstormer, filled with classic techno tropes.

The New Yorker has forged an enduring musical path over the decades, with early productions for Damon Wild’s Synewave imprint, Sandwell District, Ostgut Ton, his own Infrastructure New York label, and most recently, Tresor Records, and has become a dependable and revered producer and DJ within the genre.

The original mix of ‘Hidden’ can be found on Dense & Pika’s impressive 2021 debut long player ‘Colour Burn’ and features Igor Cavalera, drummer with Brazilian thrash metal deities Sepultura.

Sara Simms’ "855" is a minimal, melodic composition that’s sure to work its way onto dance floors around the globe. On "855", Sara pairs a punchy techno kick with a classic TB-303 acid line, and melodic phrases made with Korg’s M1. 

"855" is the eleventh release on Sara Simms’ label Simmetry Sounds. When asked about the track’s title, Sara comments, “the number 855 symbolizes major changes and significant choices in life. When I finished the session for this track, it was 8:55 pm. Later on, I discovered the number had a deeper meaning and decided to keep it as the track’s title.”

Best known for her techno sets and production skills, Sara is a multi-instrumentalist with a love for music technology. As a DJ, she's played sets for Paxahau, Allen and Heath’s live broadcast at ADE and Miami Music Week, at Charivari Detroit, and at Techno Taco Tuesday for MNTRA in Las Vegas. Sara has created projects together with Mixed In Key, Native Instruments, and 6AM. As an educator, she's put on production workshops with Point Blank, BIMM, Moog Music Inc, IO Music Academy, and Femme House.  S

Sara's label Simmetry Sounds is focused on releasing cutting-edge techno and house. Her career highlights include: playing at Ultra Music Festival (Miami), appearing on DJ QBert's Skratch University, and playing at AIR (Tokyo).

From being a Toulouse-born techno producer and having founded Requested Soul Records in 2020, Idem Nevi has always been headstrong about his productions. 

Receiving support from Richie Hawtin, Charlotte De Witte, Marcel Fengler, 747 and Slam, Idem Nevi makes a fierce return after a brief hiatus. He returns with his ten-track album, ‘Lost Alchemy’.

A central recurring idea is the nature of artificial intelligence and consciousness, specifically through the "Synthellect Manifesto," which posits an entity processing patterns without true understanding, agency, or being. The texts also touch on socio-political anxieties and geopolitics, referencing communism, "geopolitics is war," and the rights of machines. Finally, there is a strong emphasis on spirituality, potentiality, and transformative energy, with mentions of Orixás, cosmic forces, and "the spirit of possibility" residing in the space between thoughts and heartbeats, contrasting tradition with modernity and digital existence.
