Already becoming a regular fixture on the Kneaded Pains label, as well as releasing his heavyweight techno sounds on labels like Autektone Records and T-Minus Records, Northern Ireland’s Luciid delivers another granite hard single for the label curated by titans Dense & Pika.

Rattling cymbals and hats are deployed on ‘We Hold No Love’, as its urgent pace and acidic tones are stamped onto another Luciid stomper that takes no prisoners!  Another frenetic banger is served up on ‘Into My Mind’, as rampaging beats and frantic percussion build to a deranged breakdown of epic proportions.

Rising Italian DJ & producer Hollen makes a real splash with his debut release for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT label.  The ‘Dance With The Groove’ EP features four slammers of the highest order.

Having chalked up releases for labels like Intec, Smart Lab Music and Prospect Records, as well as support from fellow DJs like Lily Palmer, Pan Pot, Joseph Capriati and Chris Liebing amongst others.

‘Dance With The Groove’ opens up this solid EP, laying down a hypnotising vocal hook over precision beats and a funky rhythm, whilst ‘Basement’ serves up cyclical motifs and brain scrambling tones for a proper techno bomb!

With a tight production sound and infectious groove, Hollen keeps up the pressure with ‘Trippin’ and ‘Totem’ to round off a super debut for the EI8HT imprint.

Back around once again with another indispensable collection of new techno bangers, Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label issue a fifth instalment of their KPAINS series.

Some of the many highlights on KPAINS5 include a classy remix of Dense & Pika’s ‘Apache’ from Oxia (whose 2006 epic ‘Domino’ became a global success), a devastating rattler from Filterheadz & Horatio, NANCY Live’s gnarly ‘CreM’ and the dark and murky garage sounds of Martin Badder’s ‘Yeh You (So Sweet)’.

Elsewhere on the compilation album, new talent comes to the surface, with pure heaters from the likes of edetto, Eme Kulhnek, djseanEboy, Mark Porter, ProOne79, Transistor Rhythms and AD7USTMENT.

Unlearn revisit one of the biggest releases from their catalogue, bringing us brand new remixes on Preston Zane and MC Flipside’s Late Night Disco from Vanilla Ace & Venky and label founder Doc Brown. 

Originally released in 2021, Preston Zane and MC Flipside’s Late Night Disco is a searing tech house cut with drive and groove that perfectly feeds the energy of afterhours rooms with loose, loopy synths punctuated by Flipside's gritty vocals. It went on to become a defining record for Unlearn Records and a staple in many DJs sets, making it fertile ground for a couple of brand new remixes! 

First up Vanilla Ace teams up with Venky for a snarling, seething tech house weapon., with a chunky, rolling bassline, clattering fills and a warped piano line coming to the fore during the epic breakdown. Doc Brown opts for a more hypnotic vibe with his interpretation,  slowly building the tension with subtle washes of white noise and a prominent lead synth stab that ebbs and flows throughout.

Across a career spanning over a decade, Barr has released on esteemed labels such as James Zabiela’s Born Electric, Gruuv, Nofitstate and Sasha’s Last Night On Earth.

Musically, DUFAUX forages a deep and transcendental path, pulling together a triplet of classy tracks each scattered with melodic touches and punchy techno chops, making for a highly impressive debut, and a taster of things to come from this new alias.
