Born and raised in Bristol, DJ and producer edetto has been immersed in his hometown’s thriving electronic music scene, taking in the cities unique spin on contemporary electronic music.  Having already fired out releases for labels such as Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint and the Bristol based Apex label, edetto tees up a gargantuan release for Kneaded Pains.

Tense orchestral stabs stomp over the title track ‘Strung Out’ for a real bombastic club cut, whilst trancey arps dance hypnotizingly over a solid rhythm and nostalgic vox on ‘Chatter’.  Elsewhere on the ‘Strung Out’ EP, edetto keeps up the tempo and energy levels with another two barn stormers, ‘Charge Mode’ and ‘The Energiser’.

Tømas Sinn - Gather

Inspired by Chicago, built for the dance floor, now remixed by two names very close to Edwin Oosterwal's heart: 'Elasticity' gets two heavyweight reboots it deserves.

Originally released in October 2017, the Rejected boss's slamming track hit hard with elements of many timeless rudiments from Trax to 'Erotic Discourse'. Still sounding incredible today, it now enjoys these updates from Dutch techno pioneer Alden Tyrell and renown groove maestro Dennis Quin.

Alden steps up first. One of Edwin's all-time favourite producers, here the Clone legend beefs up the drums and energy while retaining all of the original elasticated mischief of the original. The result is a raw but warm slap to the senses.

Quin follows. A long-time friend and occasional collaborator with Oosterwal, Dennis adds a little laid-back strut to the groove, softening it around the edges but still focusing on that processed hook that ripples up and down the groove, creating all kinds of freaky moves in the process.

Inspired by Chicago, made in the Netherlands and still very much built for the dance floor. This is what remixes are all about. Time to get stretchy once again!

Making his debut into the world of techno, the crazy-haired Dutch rave enthusiast, Thimo Konings has joined the Gem family with a massive 2-track EP titled ‘On The Wire’. The leading track wastes no time by immediately sending the listener down a path of no return. ‘On The Wire’ expresses itself with relentless power, which is accompanied by delayed foley and creates space within itself to make it smash on any dancefloor. Next up, we have ‘Sturm’, which can quickly be summed up as the dark horse of the release. ‘Sturm’ encompasses everything that the perfect hypnotic techno banger needs, and it never shies away from pulling you deeper and deeper into the abyss.

After the success of his Uncage debut EP "SUP?" last summer which was supported by a some of the major tastemakers of the scene, we're really happy to welcome back fast-rising Ackermann from Stuttgart, Germany for his second EP on the label. 

He didn't mess around this time and delivered two straight driving techno bombs in his bouncy head-bopping style! On top there are brilliant remixes by two of the best upcoming producers at the moment: Gene Richards Jr., who is coming hot after his debut EPS on Uncage anD Truncate's WRKTRX. 

Also on the remix duties is Brazil's finest Marcal, who is dropping bombs left and right in 2020 on labels such as Rekids or Planet Rhythm.  Break your neck to these!
